Our laboratory is under the direction of Dr. Normarie Herrera, clinical pathologist, with the support of Dr. Keila Rivera-Román, the only pathologist in Puerto Rico with a subspecialty in Molecular Genetics.

In addition, our team of medical technologists is trained and specialized in the most innovative clinical laboratory techniques and molecular genetics.

This division has a large team of couriers for sample collection and delivery of results. We cover all routes throughout the island.

Senate Bill 671 was signed into law, thus allowing patients to have access to the following laboratory tests without the need for a physician’s order, as long as the patient can afford the test(s). This bill’s main purpose is to expand patient’s rights and allows the discretionary freedom to require the services of a clinical laboratory at any time, as long as the patient can afford the cost of the test(s) to be performed with his or her money, without the need for a physician’s order.
